When you enter the Healing Rooms, you’ll be greeted by our Receptionist, who will ask you if you’re visiting for the first time or are a return guest. If you’re a first-time guest, you’ll receive a full-page prayer request and release form. You give us as much of your contact information as you like, write your prayer request in the space provided, and sign and date the form. Return guests fill out a short form with their prayer request and any changes to their contact information.
Preparing for Prayer
Once you’ve filled out the prayer request form, you’ll be invited to wait in our “soaking area,” a place set aside for you to pray or meditate silently, read Scripture, or whatever activity brings you peace and prepares you to receive prayer. Your prayer request form is given to one of our 2-3 person prayer teams. They read your request and then pray over it, asking Holy Spirit to show them how to minister to you. When the team is ready to receive you, one of them will personally greet you in the soaking area and bring you to the prayer room or station.
Your Prayer Session
A typical prayer session at the Healing Rooms lasts about 20 minutes. Depending on your needs and how many other guests we have waiting, the team has the discretion to extend the session or, with your consent, have you wait in the soaking area for another 20-minute session or have you return another day for more ministry. Our heart is that all guests receive the love of God through us at every visit. Some of our guests receive the healing they seek instantaneously, others receive it progressively. Know that we will persist with you for as many prayer sessions as you need.
After Your Prayer Session
Our team will offer you a selection of free prayer handouts and Bible study resources to help you proclaim the truth of what you received from God over yourself, battle against doubt and spiritual oppression, and keep the healing you received. You’re also free to browse our selection of books and worship CDs.
